- Harry James Videos on YouTube (1911-1983) One of the great Big Band Leaders and a trumpet virtuoso, Harry was raised in a traveling circus. He played with Benny Goodman early on before starting his own orchestra featuring then little known vocalist Frank Sinatra. Over the spanned several decades of his career, he played with many of the greats.
